Here are some of the areas where North Church and Bessie Green are seeking assistance:
VOLUNTEERS
Luncheon Ministry
∙ Assist with the preparation, cooking and/or clean up – no experience necessary
Clothing Barn
∙ Assist clients with selection of apparel; organize clothing
Church Maintenance
∙ Painting, plumbing and knowledge of other maintenance skills
∙ General cleaning
∙ Assist maintenance staff – no experience necessary
RESOURCES
Bessie Green is always in need of canned fruits & vegetables, meats and tuna, as well as cereal, pasta and rice for the food pantry. The clothing barn has a special need of under shirts, underwear and socks, for men and children. So when you purchase these items for yourself, pick up an extra pair or more for the clothing barn. We also welcome donations of paper goods, toys and pampers for the children.
FUNDING
Your contributions enable North Church to maintain building so that Bessie Green can continue to function in our space. North wants Bessie to continue to provide hot lunches, clothing and programs for individuals and families. So please be generous.
